First, measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape straight across your back. Round up to the nearest whole number. This is your bust measurement.

    Survival instructor outdoor LEO

    This is a piece of kit I don’t leave home without. It’s exactly what I was looking for while teaching survival classes in the PNW and Rocky Mountains. It’s warm, stays warm when wet, and has proven damn near indestructible while diving through devil’s club and gnarly underbrush.

    I’m impressed enough that I’ll be ordering one for all of our instructors. Next up, I’ll be putting it through the wringer this fall during archery elk and rifle mule deer seasons.

    For sizing, I’m 6’0”, 245 lbs with broad shoulders, and the XL fits perfectly. There’s enough room to layer underneath it if needed -not that you’ll need much. Easily one of my favorite pieces of outdoor kit.

    Don’t buy one, buy two.
